About the Role

Art Outreach is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Programmes & Projects Executive to join our close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering meaningful arts programmes to diverse communities. The Programmes & Projects Executive will play a key role in the planning and execution of community-based initiatives, including our signature HEARTH programme, school outreach, and guided tours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the HEARTH programme, including artist liaison, scheduling, and logistics

  • Manage school and tour programmes, including outreach, bookings, and tour guide coordination

  • Support community engagement initiatives, including workshops, public programmes, and partnerships

  • Assist in the planning and execution of ad hoc projects and events across the organisation

  • Provide administrative and operational support, including preparing reports, tracking budgets, and maintaining project timelines

  • Be flexible and willing to take on a wide variety of tasks as needed in a dynamic team environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, though 1–2 years of relevant work experience in arts administration, education, events, or community engagement is preferred

  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure, managing multiple deadlines at once

  • A motivated problem-solver who takes initiative and approaches challenges creatively

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Apple Keynote; working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus

  • Familiarity with arts education, community arts, or public programming is a bonus
